SleepCo is here to help you on your sleep health journey. Take our quick 2-minute quiz today to see how you can benefit from our tailored sleep help.
Do I need a referral from my doctor?
No referral is required for our online sleep quiz or home test.
How do I do a test at home?
After completing our online quiz, simply order the Good Sleep Test from our website. Once you receive your Good Sleep TEST, download the SleepCare app and follow the instructions. You can stick to your usual bedtime routine. Simply attach the sensor to your fingertip and begin recording via the app before falling asleep. Remove the sensor in the morning and repeat this process for three nights.
How accurate is the home sleep test?
The Good Sleep Test is a doctor approved, 92% accurate, disposable sleep apnea test that accurately measures key sleep metrics to diagnose you in the comfort of your own home.
What information is collected in the home sleep test?
- Breathing: The test monitors your breathing rate, airflow, and the effort you are making to breathe.
- Oxygen Levels: Sensors are used to measure your blood oxygen saturation, which indicates how well your body is receiving oxygen.
- Heart Rate: A sensor often tracks your heart rate, which can be an indicator of your overall sleep health.
- Body Movement: Some tests also measure your body position and movements during sleep.
- Snoring (in some cases): Certain home sleep tests can detect snoring events and their intensity.
How is a traditional sleep clinic different from a home sleep test?
- A sleep lab study involves spending the night at a medical facility where your sleep is monitored using specialized equipment.
Differences include:
- Environment: Sleep labs are conducted in a clinical setting, while home sleep tests are performed in the comfort of your home.
- Monitoring: Sleep labs often involve more comprehensive monitoring, including brain activity (EEG), heart rate, oxygen levels, and body movements.
- Convenience: Home sleep tests are more convenient, cost-effective, and less intrusive.
